Deal Origination Internship –

Overview:

NewDill Investments, a dynamic firm focused on foreign direct investment, buyouts, and mergers and acquisitions, is seeking a proactive and resourceful Deal Origination Intern.

This role is ideal for individuals interested in business development, market intelligence, and identifying strategic investment opportunities before they reach the market.

Job Description:

​

As a Deal Origination Intern, you will work closely with the business development and investment teams to support sourcing efforts, identify potential investment targets, and build early-stage relationships with promising companies and partners. Your role will be critical in helping expand NewDill’s deal pipeline and drive growth across markets.

Key Responsibilities:

​

• Conduct market research to identify industries and regions with high investment potential.

• Build and maintain a database of prospective companies, partners, and stakeholders.

• Support outreach efforts by drafting emails, presentations, and introductory materials.

• Analyze company profiles, financial data, and strategic fit for investment.

• Track deal flow, monitor lead progress, and maintain internal CRM systems.

• Collaborate with global scouts and external partners to uncover early-stage opportunities.

• Assist in the preparation of briefing notes and reports for internal decision-making.

 

Qualifications:

​

• Strong interest in business development, investment strategy, and market expansion.

• Excellent research and communication skills.

• Familiarity with tools such as LinkedIn, PitchBook, Crunchbase, or similar platforms is a plus.

• Organized, self-driven, and comfortable with outreach and relationship building.

• Ability to think strategically and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Academic background in business, economics, finance, international relations, or related fields.

 

Compensation:

​

This is an unpaid position; however, you will receive a certificate upon completion. You will also be invited to attend exclusive workshops and participate in special initiatives at our discretion.

 

Objective:

​

This internship provides valuable experience in deal sourcing, relationship building, and investment strategy. You will play an integral role in helping NewDill Investments identify and originate new deals that align with our mission to drive economic growth and innovation.
